Welcome "here", to your heart

Welcome here, your "here", in this very moment where you are. "Here" is the unique time. "Here” is the instant of life. All the life, our life is in that "here". That "here" is not complicated. It is "what remains" ... It is what stays, the absolute, free of any elaboration or judgment. We are there before all and yet after all. Why to follow and feed further more the doubts and speculations of the mind? Why to do anything particular for this purpose; to strive to keep it, to maintain it, or to let go of it. Aren’t we before “doing”?

More than anything, unconditionally, we "Are"… Receive this “beingness".
See how it expresses itself regardless of any "doing" and any "non-doing".
See what the basis is, the continuous wire where what comes and leaves alternate.
Taste this peace of the heart…

Unconditional and spontaneous Présence

Although for years I have practiced and dedicated myself into different methods in order to awaken, at the very moment of realization I recognized that it was not the result of all this. Awakening is spontaneous and unconditional. It is the mere evidence of our nature finally accepted. To say it in other words, the truth is already true. Our nature is our nature. All our gesticulations in the illusion are just a way to extend our blindness by delaying the "collapse" of a game that is empty. By adapting a famous quote, I would say: “The path of illusion is paved with good intentions”.

I am grateful to the universal truth that joined me in the weakness and in the disease. Sovereign, it has emerged and led me to reconsider the ways based on the idea of a "spiritual path". In fact, the more we journey, the more the goal seems like a horizon line that we can never reach. In the illusion, most often we have the power to invest more time, money, health and youth for our liberation. However, this is a great luxury, a kind of privilege and ironically a clever manner to push away the real confrontation. I do not think either that we must live extreme situations or tragedies to understand. In my case, it was not due to illness. Illness only made me stop my spiritual extravagances and change my vision of things. Many people go through misery, but all do not get the same lessons from it.

The only thing that I believe can help us for enlightenment is honesty with ourselves. If, as we believe, truth exists, then what is it? Is this truth true or is it supposed to become such? How could this truth be truer tomorrow!? Isn’t this rather a way for us to procrastinate and not to face evidence? We pretend to want awakening, but on the other hand we are not really determined to stop deluding ourselves. As long as we tell ourselves and "consume" stories, as we strive in beautifying them, we do not allow ourselves to be joined by the unconditional truth, already true, already there waiting for us.

The peace of the heart

There is in the heart of our lives a simple and spontaneous state, that is not received, that is not authorized. It is as if war was already over, peace already proclaimed, but we couldn't release our weapons.

One more fight is useless. There is no need to impose an effort of peace to our heart, but to receive the natural peace it gives us. The only required effort is a trusting relaxation. The same way our heart is beating effortlessly in our chest, it offers us on top of it the wonders of life. It floods us with grace, peace, kindness...

We can leave every fight, leave the place, simply Be.
We can welcome ourselves, just as life welcomes us, here, now, unconditionally, in this space and the new breath that breathes us.
We can taste the peace of what we genuinely are, beyond successes and failures, and remain freely.

The peace of the heart is a natural rest, the rest in 'ourselves'.
This peace does not mean an apathy, but a dynamic serenity, a creative joy.
It is 'Living Presence'.
It comes from trusting the Life that carries us and from reconciliation,
of finally accepting ourselves.
To find the peace of the heart, we first need to be our friend.
